Privacy Policy
Effective June 2026
Overview
Tide & Stone (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you visit our store or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our site you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, and order details when you make a purchase or sign up for our email list. Payment card details are entered at checkout and processed by our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as your device and browser type and how you use the site, to keep it working and improve it.
How we use your information
We use your information to process and ship orders, send order confirmations and customer-service messages, respond to your questions, prevent fraud, and — only if you opt in — send marketing emails about new pieces, drops, and offers.
Email marketing & your consent
We send marketing emails only to people who have opted in. When you subscribe, we record your opt-in so we have a clear record of your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, and we will stop sending them. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional messages about an order you placed.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the store — for example, our payment processor, our email-delivery provider, our website host, and our database provider — and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your cart and preferences and to understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; turning them off may affect how parts of the site work.
Data retention & security
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to stop sending you marketing. California residents may have additional rights regarding their personal information, including the right to know what we collect and to request deletion. To make a request, contact us at hello@tideandstone.com.
Children
Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
